We started off our drive to Yellowstone with a detour to the Lewis and Clark Caverns where we hiked 3/4 mile up to some awesome caves.  Elise enjoyed the trip lots too and frequently commented "Wow!" or "Whoa!" when we saw new stalagtites and stalagmites!  It was a fun 2 hour side trip...the rest of the day was filled with driving into West Yellowstone and checking into our new timeshare there.  Monday ...

we hit the upper loop of Yellowstone, or at least 75% of it as the last link was still closed for the winter season.  The weather was amazing...mid 80s but snow scattered about, so we got the best of both worlds, the beauty of the snow and the warmth to be able to enjoy the weather!  We saw 3 bears, one with her two cubs!  Ryan was really into watching the bears and other animals...we saw plenty of elk, some mule deer, a pronghorn and about 100 buffalo!  The wildlife was just out everywhere.
